Сила женьщины - Strength of a women Коня на скаку остановит, В горящую избу войдет - An old Russian quote about the power of women from the village. It says that they can stop a running horse and walk into a burning house. Nowadays people transfer it also to hard working women from a city - having a job, a husband, rising children and doing everything for them... This series of young women from Russia in the age of 21 and 35 is connected to this thought. In this age, a woman is searching her power. She starts to develop and define her personality, or you already can find this energy in different ways. It is all about: Love. Sympathy. Intuition. Smile. Vitality. Beauty. Wildness. Relaxation. Opening. Abandon. In 2015 I have been to St.Petersburg to photograph women who I meet on the streets, or where I spend some time. My goal was to overcome my fear of asking strangers to make a photograph during a short time. I wanted to open and focus myself on this issue because I realized that my strength will grow also. Because when I feel strong behind the camera, they will feel that also and give it back to me in the same moment.
